This modern hall bathroom remodel in Alamo, CA, began as a simple powder room. Our clients wanted to convert it into a full bath across from their bonus room, which we transformed into a guest bedroom and office. To create space for a shower, we removed a small wall, borrowed a bit of area from beneath the stairs, and relocated the toilet. The new layout brought functionality and flow to the space while maintaining a calm, timeless style.
A floating rift cut white oak vanity fits perfectly within an existing niche, accented by a beautiful glass-and-marble mosaic tile backsplash. Matte black plumbing fixtures and lighting add contrast and sophistication, complementing the framed shower door and other fixtures. The shower features large-format white tiles with subtle movement, a coordinating mosaic niche, and a simple tile shower pan that ties the design together.
