This Round Hill, Alamo, CA bathroom remodel converted an existing powder room into a fully functional hall bathroom, adding significant value and usability to the home. Located across from a newly created guest bedroom and office, the project required a complete reconfiguration of the space to accommodate a full shower, toilet, and vanity while maintaining a clean and timeless design.
To achieve the Alamo bathroom conversion, we removed a partial wall, borrowed space from beneath the stairs, and relocated the toilet to improve flow and functionality. These strategic layout changes allowed the small half bath to become a well-designed full bathroom without compromising circulation or comfort.
A floating rift-cut white oak vanity was custom fit into an existing niche, paired with a glass and marble mosaic backsplash that adds subtle texture and refinement. Matte black plumbing fixtures and lighting introduce contrast and a modern edge, complementing the framed glass shower enclosure.
The walk-in shower features large-format white tile with soft movement, a coordinating mosaic niche, and a simple tile shower pan for a cohesive, low-maintenance finish. Soft white walls keep the space bright and open, enhancing the sense of calm and cleanliness.
This Alamo, CA half bath to full bath conversion blends bathroom remodeling, space reconfiguration, custom vanity design, walk-in shower installation, and modern finishes into a functional and elegant hall bathroom remodel.
