Our clients were sophisticated busy professionals with children who wanted to create a modern, chic, and spa-like primary bathroom. The existing bathroom was extremely outdated with floral stencils and a glass block shower. A total gut and unique design ensued!
Upon entering the spacious bathroom, a grey chevron-tiled alcove on the left featured a beautiful white freestanding oval tub next to a large window, facing a two-sided fireplace. This is a gorgeous space to relax and soak in front of a fire! Beyond that, we continue into the water closet – the focus of which is a full grey chevron-tiled wall and a wall-mounted white tankless toilet. Classic and timeless.
For a modern look, we chose 2 MTI counter/sink integrated wall-mounted 48″ vanities with 48″ Roburn medicine cabinets with roll-up doors. The shower was the focal point of the room, with a chromotherapy rain shower with colored LED lights and digital controls, a floating stone bench, and a custom glass shower enclosure that was 9′ long and 6′ high. Vertical contrast grey tile walls at either end of the shower are complemented by lighted niches. A cool grey and white color palette keeps it modern and chic, and a beautiful sauna completes the luxurious spa-like experience. This is a true luxury primary suite, a place to relax and rejuvenate in at the end of the day.
