This Alamo, CA primary bathroom remodel transforms an outdated layout into a calm, modern retreat with improved flow, privacy, and functionality. The clients wanted a clean, fresh design with a neutral palette and a more efficient use of space. To achieve this, we reconfigured the layout with a single entry and pocket door, expanded the shower, and separated the vanity area from the toilet and bathing spaces. We also relocated the water heater, allowing for additional usable square footage within the bathroom.
The new walk-in shower is spacious and thoughtfully detailed, featuring a built-in tiled bench, recessed niches, and a curb clad in soft 10” x 30” beige tile. A striking herringbone floor pattern in beige, taupe, and white adds subtle movement and visual interest while maintaining a timeless feel.
A light oak prefab double vanity brings warmth and natural texture to the space, paired with satin nickel fixtures for a refined, understated finish. Matching mirrored medicine cabinets provide integrated storage, while crisp white walls keep the space bright and open.
This Alamo, CA bathroom renovation blends primary bathroom remodeling, space reconfiguration, a walk-in shower, a pre-finished custom-style vanity, and neutral, spa-inspired finishes to create a modern, timeless bathroom designed for everyday comfort.
