The centerpiece of the renovation was relocating the kitchen from the upper level into the expansive great room, creating an open-concept kitchen, dining, and living area that serves as the heart of the home. To accommodate the new layout, a load-bearing wall was strategically reconfigured, allowing for a seamless inset wall of custom cabinetry and integrated appliances. The custom kitchen features elegant quartz countertops paired with a full-height quartz backsplash for a clean, timeless aesthetic and easy maintenance. Premium appliances include a 48-inch Wolf range top, Wolf hood, Wolf microwave drawer, a 42-inch panel-ready Sub-Zero French door refrigerator, Miele panel-ready dishwasher, and Miele warming drawer. The former upstairs kitchen was completely transformed into two new bedrooms, two bathrooms, and a dedicated laundry room, significantly improving the home’s functionality for a busy family. Designed for two sisters, the bathrooms share a cohesive design palette while incorporating unique details that reflect each sister’s personality. One bathroom features striking royal blue chevron wall tile accented by penny tile flooring and a coordinating shower niche, while the second showcases a blue-green chevron tile with neutral penny tile details. Large-format white wall tile creates a bright, timeless backdrop, and satin brass plumbing fixtures add warmth and sophistication throughout both spaces.
