Our clients had a small and outdated primary bathroom and had the land to expand the bathroom with an addition. We bumped out the home’s back wall and created a calm and spacious retreat, with radiant heated floors, a freestanding tub, and marble-tiled shower walls.
We chose a beautiful sage green for the custom-painted double vanity, with matte black hardware. Our clients went with matching mirrors as they had plenty of storage in the vanity. Three matte black and glass wall sconces are beautiful and functional, and the veined marble tile shower walls continue to the bench seat. The black slate 12″x24″ large format tile heated floors pull together the black accents in the room. We added new windows; a large window behind the tub and a vertical window to the left of the vanity provides plenty of light, and the large backyard provides privacy. The white freestanding tub is large and comfortable, with a matte black tub filler, and a Toto washlet toilet was the final luxury touch in the room. We chose white walls in the bathroom to highlight the green, grey, and black color palettes.
