A wonderful past client came to us with a request to remodel three bathrooms and create a fourth, and we agreed with enthusiasm! This is the large downstairs hall bathroom, with a freestanding bathtub, and beautiful mosaic glass tile in the bath niche and the backsplash. The floor tile in the bath/shower area is a flat pebble mosaic tile, and the light is a beautiful semi-flush light with an understated bit of bling and sparkle. The wall hung vanity is a soft glazed wood vanity from Cabico, with open shelving for towels on the bottom. We took out the exterior door in the newly created shower area and installed a beautiful offset full length window that overlooks the lush garden.
We love the unique touches, like the over the vanity sconces which are cut into the single pane mirror. The sink is a matte stone sink, which matches the stone freestanding tub. The color palette is warm neutrals, with soft greys, taupes and a bit of beige. In lieu of a shower door, the clients went with two glass panels with a center opening and a curb-less shower configuration. This also is a great feature of aging in place or universal design. Overall, we collaborated with our clients to create a soothing, spa-like bathroom of beauty and great functionality!
