Our clients had a vision for the primary bathroom in their wooded hilltop home: an organic feel, serene and warm, with a large shower and freestanding tub. The room’s focal point is a gorgeous ergonomic white matte Victoria and Albert 75″ freestanding tub. The full wall of 3-dimensional beige and white tile in a wavy, ocean pattern behind the tub provides a subtle backdrop. The large shower on the opposite wall from the tub features the same 3D tile accent wall, with a large, lighted greige niche. The double vanity is walnut, with a Vadara quartz countertop and simple modern brushed nickel plumbing fixtures. A Toto Legato washlet toilet is a luxurious touch. The matching mirrored medicine cabinets also feature mirrored interiors, while the Sidler Tall mirrored recessed wall medicine cabinet is modern and provides lots of storage.
Grey/beige large format tile is used for the rest of the shower walls and bathroom floors, the pony wall, and the baseboard. In addition to a lighted niche, undercabinet lighting runs along the bottom of the vanity, providing low lighting for off hours. We chose Sherwin Williams Pure White for the bathroom walls and ceiling, and an obscure small horizontal window above the tub provides natural light. Simple rectangular bar sconce lights above the medicine cabinets complete the look, and the serene and elegant bathroom goal is achieved!
