Our clients had a great house, a young family, a modern sensibility and a traditional living space. The challenge: to create an open plan kitchen that flowed into the family room, and a work/play space for the children separated from the family room by a cool see through fireplace. A kitchen work area and a wetbar were also part of the scope.
This beautiful Euro-modern kitchen features matte black slab cabinetry doors interspersed with wood laminate accents, touch latch opening systems for doors and drawers and a blue soda glass backsplash. A great focal point is the mix of quartz and laminate countertops on the island – offering great storage, lots of prep area, and the perfect place for entraining and family gatherings. Adding to the minimalist and clean look are the appliances, which either feature black cabinetry doors or flush installations.
