These busy European professionals with grown kids wanted a cool, clean and contemporary open plan kitchen that would maximize storage and prep area, have room for wine cabinetry, and open up to the living and dining area for entertaining. This was accomplished by removing a long wall between kitchen and living room, relocating the dining area, creating an eating nook on the new island, and increasing the flow and functionality of the home. White painted cabinets, beautiful white oak wide planked floors and elegant 12×40 Blanco backsplash tile with a bit of sparkle add to the fresh and sleek feel of the room. We also remodeled 2 baths and painted the whole home.
