Let Us Transform the Way You Start Your Day with a Master Bath Remodel

The master bathroom is the place where we start and end our busy days. The bathroom takes quite a bit of abuse, between water, humidity, and temperature changes. After remodeling scores of master baths in the Bay Area, we’ve heard and seen it all: cramped and outdated bathrooms, sinks so low that they give you a backache, leaking tubs and daily battles for counter space.

Starting your day can be a calm, comfortable and enjoyable experience. Imagine his and her sinks, a relaxing freestanding tub, and an expansive glass-enclosed waterfall shower. How about a bench seat and towel hooks with an artistic railing that doubles as a grab bar? Having a master bathroom that is beautiful and functional can really change your daily perspective, and leave you relaxed and serene as you prepare for bed.

We’ll Create a Hall Bath That You’ll Love

While children make good use of the “hall bathroom”, they can also be hard on the room! Perhaps your children are grown and gone, and you would love a guest bathroom that your weekend visitors will rave about. It’s possible, and we can help you make it happen. The hall bath, otherwise known as the “kids bathroom” or the “guest bathroom”, has really changed in the last 10 years. While remodeling hundreds of bathrooms in the East Bay, we have many homeowners ask us to remove the large and bulky spa tubs that were so popular in this area in the 1960’s – 1990’s (remember those?), and replace them with everything from freestanding tubs, to sleek tubs for two, to no tubs at all. Meanwhile, showers have become very cool and functional, with bench seats, footholds, numerous and varied shower heads and towel hooks inside the shower. Storage, too, has become very creative, with double vanities, rollup medicine cabinets and pullout drawers reminiscent of spice racks that are used for medicine and vitamins right in the bathroom.

Envision Your New, Pretty Powder Room

The powder room, also known as the half bath, is usually located on the main floor of the house, sometimes the lower level, and provides easy access for your family and guests, without having guests in your private space. With a sink and toilet, and often limited space, the half bath is an easy remodel. Oftentimes, during a kitchen or whole home remodel, our clients want to “refresh” this room. Other times, it’s a total gut of outdated tile, fixtures and sinks, replaced by some really fun and interesting new designs and fixtures. We also are finding families that are re-purposing rooms, like dining rooms or formal living rooms, and are asking us to create large and luxurious laundry rooms and half baths or pool baths. We find that most major kitchen or whole home remodels usually have a bathroom or two thrown in. Take the first step towards creating your beautiful new powder room!

We highly recommend MSK to deliver great remodel results!

Our designer Kathy was absolutely wonderful. She listened to our ideas and helped offer suggestions to get the design we wanted. She helped create a Zen-like relaxing retreat in our master bath with a custom shower. We were really impressed with the quality of work from the guys, – all of whom are great craftsmen – and their teams... MSK came in on budget and on time and everyone was professional and very helpful in answering our questions. We highly recommend MSK to deliver great remodel results!
