With three kids under one roof, this busy family needed a bathroom that could withstand daily traffic, provide smart storage, and still feel clean and modern.
The original layout was divided and cramped, featuring a standard double vanity, a wall separating the toilet area, a shower over the tub, and minimal storage. We opened up the space by removing the dividing wall and replacing the tub with a larger walk-in shower, creating a more functional layout without significant structural changes.
A custom wall-hung vanity by Nickels Cabinets offers generous drawer space, while a tall center cabinet between the sinks adds separation and convenience. Soft gray countertops provide a subtle contrast to the black-and-white palette. Sleek Sidler medicine cabinets contribute additional hidden storage.
The enlarged shower is finished with elegant 3D white wave tile, two spacious niches, and a striking black-framed glass enclosure. A contrasting hexagonal tile floor, paired with matte black plumbing fixtures and hardware, brings a bold, modern edge. Fresh white paint keeps the space feeling bright and airy.
The result? A high-functioning, stylish hall bath – built to meet the needs of teens and pre-teens and last for years to come.
