This East Bay home renovation included a complete kitchen, living room, and family room remodel as well as 3 bathrooms, a fireplace, and hardwood flooring. The construction was completed in stages so our clients could live in the home comfortably throughout the process. Creating a bright, open and light-filled kitchen was the number one priority for this couple, as they are accomplished chefs and foodies and spend much time preparing beautiful meals and entertaining. The master bath was typical of some local homes in that the sink area was actually in the master bedroom, so we made some structural changes and created a private, clean and contemporary master bath. The addition of 3 sliding shoji closet doors in the master bedroom was an elegant and Asian inspired touch.
